The Position:

The People & Culture Manager reports directly to the General Manager and he/she is the focal person for all people-related issues. The P&C Manager’s duties will involve managing activities, such as job design, recruitment, talent management, employee relations, performance management, training & development, and culture. The emphasis will be on talent acquisition (almost 50% of the job).

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage the staffing function and process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding ensuring the effective implementation of the workforce planning
  • Manage culture-related initiatives to ensure a positive climate and a healthy workplace
  • Manage Performance Management, C&B, Talent Management & Development and D&I programs, policies, and processes
  • Ensure the organization’s compliance with local regulations, as well as that all company HR policies are applied consistently
  • Coordinate payroll and HR Ops processes to ensure timely and accurate implementation in accordance with local laws and regulations
  • Partner with management to ensure strategic HR goals are aligned with business priorities
  • Manage the HR systems and tools, as well as the department’s external partners
  • Design and implement employee retention strategies
  • Manage the people-related budget and utilization rates to ensure productivity and qualitative metrics are met
  • Manage the Employee and Leadership Development initiatives and programs

Requirements:

  • At least 5 to 7 years of professional experience in HR, preferably including a managerial role and having worked in a Tech Company
  • Degree in Human Resources or related field (Master’s degree will be considered a plus, especially in the areas of Business Administration, Technology, or Data Analytics)
  • It is highly preferred that the person has at least 2 years of experience in Technology Recruitment
  • People-oriented, results-driven, hands-on, and analytical
  • Excellent planning, organizing, and decision-making skills
  • Very good knowledge of HR systems and tools
  • Very good level of active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
  • A high degree of accountability, maturity, teamwork, commitment, and customer orientation
