A renowned hospitality group operating multiple luxury hotels in Greece is currently seeking a Training Coordinator to join its team. This position is vital in ensuring hotel staff are well-trained and equipped to provide exceptional guest experiences. The role reports directly to the Group HR Talent & Development Manager and indirectly to the Group HR Director.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and Deliver Training Programs: Organize and implement training sessions for new and existing employees on key topics such as customer service, safety protocols, and professional development.
- E-learning Platform Management: Administer and manage online training courses, tracking progress and engagement.
- Trainee Coordination: Oversee all aspects of trainee management in collaboration with department managers, external partners, and the HR team.
- Create Training Materials: Develop resources such as manuals, videos, and guides to enhance the learning experience.
- Performance Appraisal Support: Participate in performance appraisal processes, identify training needs, and collaborate with managers to address them.
- Evaluate Training Effectiveness: Monitor the impact of training programs and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
- Maintain Training Records: Keep accurate records of training activities, attendance, and progress, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements.
- Orientation Sessions: Plan and conduct orientation for new hires, covering essential information like safety, company culture, and benefits.
- Career Development Events: Actively participate in career days and related activities, including conducting interviews and supporting employee career training.
- Additional HR Projects: Provide support for various HR initiatives and projects as needed.
Requirements:
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, human resources, or a related field is preferred. A master’s degree is considered a plus.
- Experience: At least 1–3 years of experience designing and delivering training programs, ideally in the hospitality sector.
- Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in MS Office and e-learning tools, with excellent command of Greek and English.
